The Closer seasons are a crime drama created by James Duff, Michael M. Robin and Greer Shephard. Originally it is on broadcast TNT channel. In association with Warner Bros. Television, the Shephard/Robin Company has produced the show. The Closer season 1 was premiered on June 13, 2005.
Brenda Leigh Johnson, Will Pope, David Gabriel, Taylor, Fritz Howard, Provenza, Julio Sanchez and Buzz Watson are the original main characters of ‘The Closer’ seasons. They hold the positions as Deputy Chief from Major Crimes Division1, Assistant Chief of Los Angeles Police Department, Sergeant of Major Crimes Division, Commander of Robbery-Homicide Division, Special agent of Federal Bureau of Investigation, Detective Lieutenant, Detective, Civilian Surveillance Coordinator of Major Crimes Division, respectively.
Even though there is a long list of regular ensemble characters, Brenda Leigh Johnson appears to be the main protagonist and steals the attraction of viewers. She is highly intelligent, smart and focused woman. Her commanding potential to find out the truth behind the case, compelling confessions and closing cases makes her known as “a closer”. She leads a team of detectives in Los Angeles. The story proceeds showcasing them dealing with kidnapping, fraud and high profile murder cases.
